Belinda & me went to the exhibition to conduct market research for our property database. Stand for few hours and I am really sleepy now... ZZZzzzz.... Anyway, let's take a good look at the exhibition.
Around 40 ~ 50 companies are joining this exhibition, especially SimeDarby. As I walk around, notice that some booths is not that interesting at all. Some booths are fantastic such as Walton International with water fountain display(for feng shui maybe); Naim Cendera with its huge exhibit and other stalls with nice interior and attractions, even lucky draw :)
Those who wish to buy a house do visit the exhibition quick as there are a lot of great choices!
I hope those looks-plain-stalls can do something about it otherwise nobody is gonna step into your booth. And please, marketers don't just sit there and waiting for questions, it is so rude and do put a smiling face on! You are doing business here ... ZZZzzzzzz

lol thats what ive been noticing all da time in east malaysia.. they seems not to be motivated to market themselves among public. Especially property market, the product itself is so intangible and expecting customer to imagine themselves? haha
Oh man.. tell me about it... even if those people does not look like your target market, but who knows they are surveying for their elder. Even though not for elder, at least it's a business practice.
One of the factor of losing sales is actually attitude of its employee...
poor human resource policy.. BUll!
Thank you for your blog and all the comments in it. I'm the organising chairperson for SARBEX 2009 and I'm happy to say that 8 days after its official launch on 20/5/09, all booths were taken up. This would not have happened without the support from exhibitors, the media, you - the public sponsors, etc...so we can only thank you. Today, day 2 had more visitors than yesterday and many exhibitors had mentioned that crowd turn-out plus sales (actual/potential) were much better than expected. I agree with your comments here about some sales people and that's why that I personally feel that your positive, inquisitive and friendly attitudes are very important when approaching any visitor. You may not be able to close the sale now, but through immediate and consistent follow-up you CAN turn a potential sale to an actual sale. Turn your potential buyers into friends first, know their needs/concerns then try to sell a product that meets their requirements. I welcome all comments on SARBEX, positive and negative, so do feel free to email or contact SHEDA at sheda.activities@gmail.com. Thank you again, and I apologise if we'd overlooked certain matters. Regards, Evelyn
